In this painting, I have playfully overlaid ink, liquid acrylic, and heavy body acrylic to create a rich textured image. The underpainting is a warm gold colour while I applied the final layer of paint in a contrasting cerulean and payne’s grey.

I believe that process is important and I try to make it visible through the work. Often my paintings 
are made of layers of various materials. I believe that less is more and taking off is important as
 adding. While stratifying the paint I like to make visible the various stages of the process and leave 
part of the painting unfinished.
