This painting lies in between figurative and abstract. It was inspired by a bay in the remote Føroyar islands.

I have been painting this image several times and still find it a little out of reach but very enticing. I love the soft evening light and how the cliffs emerge from the mist.

The movement of water, the fleeting light of dusk, seasons, the flow of time, and ageing are strong
influences in my work.
