In this dynamic painting, I had lots of fun overlaying ink, watercolour, acrylic and spray paint. I started painting the base layer with ink and finally added texture with acrylic. I love how the watery ink creates a soft base/background while the acrylic adds definition and texture.

I didn’t want to paint a photographic image of the dancer but rather to convey a feeling of energy and movement.
