This painting is part of the “underwater series”.

The world is so much different under the sea. The underwater world is stunning, amazing, and magical. Beautiful worlds and strange creatures occupy these watery landscapes. There is so much to discover underwater.

In this painting, I have been using collage and cold wax medium on a base layer. Then I applied the final layer of oil paint using a palette knife to achieve a rich textured effect. I chose to keep the colours at a minimum for a timelessly elegant finish.
